Hello - It’s me Emma

I’ve always been drawn to the water — from puddles and pools to rivers, reefs and the wide-open ocean. I was nicknamed “Billie the Fish” as a child because I spent every moment I could in the sea. That love only grew; today I’m a sailor, swimmer, and diver, happiest wherever saltwater meets skin.

What truly captured my soul is the vast blue horizon — where there’s nothing but ocean for miles, no one in sight, and wildlife becomes your closest neighbour. That connection is powerful, grounding, and humbling.

I started Keen on the Ocean to share that passion and help others feel it too — and to turn that love into meaningful action for marine conservation. My mission is simple: inspire ocean lovers to become ocean protectors, and empower people everywhere to care for the blue planet we all depend on.
